Helping All Bruins Build Financial Health
Our goal is to help all Bruins foster a healthy financial future by providing the tools and resources they need to make smart financial decisions.
As the Official Banking Partner of UCLA Athletics, UCLA Campus Life & Recreation, UCLA Alumni Association, UCLA Financial Wellness Program and the UCLA Dashew Center for International Students and Scholars as well as the Official Partner of UCLA Staff Assembly, and Associated Students of UCLA (ASUCLA), we offer free online financial education tools and complimentary workshops and seminars on topics such as budgeting and auto-buying for all Bruins.
UCLA Financial Wellness Program presented by Wescom
Wescom Credit Union is the presenting sponsor of the UCLA Financial Wellness Program (FWP). This partnership sponsors online modules covering a wide range of financial education topics, which incoming UCLA freshman are required to complete during their first year.
The Credit Union collaborates with the FWP throughout the year by presenting investment seminars, tax workshops, budget and credit score workshops, and other financial literacy events. For the past four years, members from Wescom’s Management Team have presented auto buying, home buying, and investment lessons to the FWP peer coaches to help UCLA students build financial health.
Financial Education Center
Wescom’s Financial Education Center equips members with 25 free financial education modules – from savings and credit scores to overdraft and budgeting – and all the resources needed to make smart financial decisions.

Wescom offers financial calculators to help Bruins estimate costs, savings, and investment goals for auto loans, home loans, retirement planning, savings, and more.
