Q. How do I apply for a mortgage with Wescom Financial?
A. You can apply for a mortgage with Wescom in Online Banking and the mobile app.
To apply in Online Banking, log in and click Apply for a Loan, then select Real Estate Application.
To apply for a mortgage in the mobile app, log in and select More, then go to Loan Center, tap Apply for a Loan, and proceed to Real Estate Application.
Q. Can I leave the application and resume later?
A. Yes, you can resume your application directly from the Online Banking dashboard after logging in using the Loan Application link located above your balances.
Q. How can I add a co-applicant to my mortgage?
A. A co-applicant may be added through an invitation during the application process. The primary applicant may enter initial co-applicant data and send an invitation to apply. The co-applicant(s) will receive an emailed invitation and will follow the prompts to complete.
Q. Does the co-applicant need to be a Wescom member?
A. No, the co-applicant does not need to be a Wescom member.
Q. How does a non-member apply?*
A. Non-members can visit wescom.org/Home-Loans/mortgage and select Apply Now.On the page, under the “Not a member?” section, they can choose Apply. Non-members are prompted to accept the membership disclosures and create a User ID. This User ID will be used for Online Banking and the mobile application after the loan funds and the new membership has been established. The email address is used for the mortgage loan application login, and the password is used for both access points.
After the loan funds and membership is established, the User ID and Password is used for all future log-ins to www.Wescom. Org. (online banking and the mobile application).
Q. When does a non-member become a member?*
A. For all non-members who apply through the online channel, the Membership is established at the time of loan funding.
Q. Who can invite a co-application?
A. The Primary applicant will invite a co-applicant via the loan application process. The Primary applicant will enter initial co-application data and send the invitation. The co-applicant(s) will receive an emailed invitation and follow the prompts to complete.
Q. How does a non-member resume an application?
A. By using a secure email link or logging into the portal directly by visiting Mortgage Portal Login the resume option can also be found on https://wescom.org/Home-Loans/mortgage/Apply.
Q. What happens when if I enter an invalid email and/or password?
A. An error message will appear, “We're sorry, the email or password is invalid.” Applicants can select “Forgot Password” to have a temporary password issued. The email address and name must match the temporary password.
