Experiencing Wescom

As we begin a new year, your Credit Union will continue to look for ways to better serve you and strive to make banking with us an experience that exceeds your expectations. We will also focus on expanding our community presence and continue serving the communities in which our members live and work.

In recent months, you may have noticed a stronger Wescom presence in Southern Californian communities, from our announcement as the Official Financial Institution of the Rose Bowl Stadium and UCLA Athletics to our #WescomKindness campaign in 2015.

To further expand awareness in 2016, we are rolling out our newest Wescom branch — a mobile branch that allows for onsite account openings, ATM cash withdrawals, and special appearances at various events throughout Southern California. The Mobile Branch also has landline, cellular, and satellite capabilities, which will enable us to serve our members in the event of service disruptions or emergencies. The addition of the Wescom Mobile Branch will prove to be a valuable asset as we strive to offer convenient and accessible banking to members and welcome new members.

Wescom understands that as technology evolves, our members do too. That's why we've made vast improvements to eBranch, our online banking tool. The new site incorporates a new look, heightened security, and added features to help members have a better online banking experience from their computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

Providing competitive loan and dividend rates continues to be one of our priorities as we strive to be our members' first choice for financial services.

Our commitment to financial education also remains a priority in 2016 as we invite members to attend workshops and seminars covering topics that pertain to your financial well-being. This issue of TouchPoints outlines numerous complimentary financial seminars hosted by Wescom Financial Services (WFS). In addition to workshops and seminars, WFS also has knowledgeable representatives available for complimentary consultations to help you achieve your financial and investment goals in 2016.

Our employee-funded and -run charity, the WeCare Foundation, is also working to build better lives in our communities. Once again in 2016 we have carefully selected charities that will receive quarterly donations from the Foundation. Our employees will also once again spend the year donating their time throughout Southern California.
