Wescom is committed to protecting your financial and personal information. In addition to using the latest technology to safeguard your personal information and privacy, we stand firmly behind you in the fight against fraud.
Whenever you use a Wescom service or product – whether it’s our eBranch online banking, electronic BillPayer system, or Wescom Visa or Check Card – we promise to cover you 100% for any funds removed from an account without your approval. If someone should steal any of your account numbers or passwords, just tell us right away and you won’t pay a thing for the fraudulent activity.
Should a breach in security take place and an account become compromised, Wescom will change your account number and issue any new cards as needed. We know how unsettling this experience can be, and we’ll do everything we can to resolve matters as quickly and painlessly as possible.
Of course we depend on you to do your part to protect your account information, such as member numbers, ATM PINs, usernames and passwords. Please do not share confidential account information with anyone, including friends, relatives and business associates. If you need someone to have access to your accounts, consider making them an Authorized Signer.
Contact us immediately if you think unauthorized access or fraud has occurred in connection with your Wescom accounts. Report such incidents to your closest Wescom branch or call the Member Service Center at 1-888-4WESCOM (1-888-493-7266).
